I hope Anet doesn't consider us complaining about overpowered bosses and start to nerf them, i like them as they are ..and it gives us some challenge to beat them

lol you guys are right, it's better like this. But damn, sometimes my whole group gets wiped so quickly that it almost makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

But it adds more challenge to the game, and really forces you too reconsider your skillbar the next time you go out hiking in the Jade Sea.. or wherever people like to go

Except Shelter has a recharge of 60 seconds. You'll need many Ritualists or Ritualists with - recharge time stuff.

Or a Ranger/Rit with Oath Shot... hmm, there are new Oath Shot possibilities, I may have to investigate.

They've always had it...go /kneel infront of an avatar when you have favor, you can buy Natural Resistance which is what all the bosses have.

minus the regen the guild lords have

*sigh* double damage period...

what many of you refuse to listen to is that level difference = damage difference

level 28 boss = more damage to you, a level 20 and even more to a level 14 even with same armor stats than a level 22 boss.
the 360 damage fireball is double what a level 28 non boss fireball would do to you... get it?

No I don't get it.

Can you please type more slowly and give a complete mathematical explanation with pictures to back it up. Thanks.

then why does a lvl24 afflicted ele hit 2-3 times harder than a lvl28 mursaat ele?...seriously, after playing factions for a while, mursaat seem tame...i was helping a guildie do Abbadon's and i was easily holding my own 1on1 with my war against a lvl28 mursaat necro boss...were that guy a mantis/dredge/afflicted, i would've been very, dead very fast...

oh, and i've seen Wing, Three Blade do ~90+ dmg with Triple Chop on my war with glads, major absorb, +40 dolyaks and Watch Yourself on..

Wing? makes you with you had a curse necro along, and a real prot monk, and an illusion warrior hate mesmer... build a party for what you are facing and they go down easier. I hate boon protting, but thats what I was forced to admit works for monks in arborstone (but you need something for the onis and the shadow shroud). Just be flexible and learn what works, and those irritating double damage high level bosses are gonna drop. I say out with the cookie cutters! :P

That is because all your armor was meaningless. Attack skills like Triple Chop that add +damage add armor-ignoring damage, and Wing has a much higher axe attribute than 16 before doubling his damage. Higher weapon attributes also increase critical hit rate, as does hitting a lower level foe(you).

I think good going A-Net. Bosses weren't really bosses, just normal guys with a pretty glow. PvE was too easy in Prophesies, I think Factions went a long way in remedying that. It helps there is now an interrupt hench, and a domination hench too.

c'mon now at first people cried about game being so easy and now when its challenging enough, people still crying?

ffs, enough is enough, just play the freaking game.
its getting annoying a bit people complaining about every single matter.
